My Thoughts

This place hands down has the best Taiwanese food in Penang. I usually come here after my trip from the airport because it’s nearby. It’s the closest taste you can get of Taiwan without travelling there!

I love their minced pork rice and also their guo tie. The minced pork rice is hearty and super cheap at only RM4 which can be a bit small but you can get the set meal which will have an additional vegetable dish and meat ball soup which is about RM10 in total!

Other than that, their guo tie is has just the right amount of crunch at the bottom side of the dumpling and loads of flavor packed inside. You may also try their deep fried marinated pork which is equally amazing too!

Milk based Noodle Soup with Fried Fish Fillet

Opening Hours

10.30AM — 3PM, 5.15PM — 8.30PM (Wed to Mon) *Closed on Tues*

My Thoughts

I was introduced to this place from a friend and let me tell you they have the best milk base noodles with fried fish fillet. The famous fried fish fillet is fragrant and crispy while the broth is milky.

If you feel like having anything sour and spicy, you could also try their Tomyam Noodle Soup which is also great. The clean and quiet environment is also a plus point.

My Thoughts

If you have Asian parents, they would definitely love this place! This Thai and Chinese fusion restaurant serves amazing food where you can get the best of both worlds.

I would recommend to try their mantis prawn with salted egg and also their green curry which are their signature dishes. You may also try their other dishes as most of them are really good in general.

Remember to go early before the peak hours (around 7PM) as it can get quite busy to avoid waiting long for a table!
